Hello, fellow crafters!

I hope this post finds you all in good health. Hope you're staying safe out there in this crazy world.

Today I bring you a review (sort of). 😉

Inspired by an unboxing video from the amazing resin artist Ayesha Sha Sha!; I ordered from FUNSHOWCASE for the very first time and wanted to review the items I received.

Let me preface by stating that this review is NOT sponsored or affiliated to/by anyone. I was just so excited to try out the items from FUNSHOWCASE, that I wanted to share my thoughts.

Now onto the review. 😉

Acrylic on Canvas

Hello, fellow crafters!

Today I'd like to share a couple of paintings I made for my dining room.

I have my dining room and kitchen decorated with tropical leaves and I bought this small painting last year of a tropical leaf that is so very cute.

But once I placed the painting on the wall it needed a little something else to match. So I remembered I had these small canvases I had bought months ago and decided to put my creativity to the test.

I wasn't sure at first when I started painting. I was kind of ready to throw in the towel. But I'm glad I didn't, because I absolutely LOVE how they turned out.

Finished paintings after the break.

Diamond Paintings

Hello, fellow crafters.

For a while now I've loved doing diamond paintings and just wanted to share my some of my favorites that I've finished. I enjoy doing both full drill and partials. I've only worked with round drills, but from pictures I've seen I do like the look of round drills better. But I am still open to working with square drills in the future.

Hope you enjoy these and let me know if you enjoy doing diamond paintings too.

Which do you prefer? Full drill or partial? Round or square drills? Let me know in the comments below. 😉

Also... feel free to show me your diamond paintings on my FB page or on Instagram.

Until next time!

Little Embelishments

Hello, fellow crafters. Hope you're all staying safe.

I found these really great wooden pieces a few months back and while I loved them I found them to be a bit bland, so I decided to spruce them up and make them my own.

I didn't do much to them, just added a few gems and I was pleasantly surprised how something so simple and easy could give these pieces a more personalized look. All I used were some decorative gems and some tacky glue.

Final result after the break.

Valentine's Roses

Hello, everyone! I apologize for not posting in months. I made some stuff during Xmas but completely forgot to post it. Will not happen again. I'm still getting used to having a crafting blog, so please bear with me.

Today I will be sharing how I painted these really cute wooden roses I found in my local Walmart.

Halloween Ornament Tutorial

Welcome to my crafting blog!

I will be sharing tutorials, templates, and other creative ideas.

We're going to start by recreating some ornaments I made two years ago for a Halloween Tree I put together (seen below).

You can make them into hanging ornaments or as I did this year; make them into magnets for the fridge (etc.)

I've made a slideshow tutorial you can watch on my YouTube channel.

You can find it HERE.

But here you'll find the written instructions as well as the templates so you can make these yourself.

We're going to make a witch's hat, a bat, a Jack O'Lantern, a full moon with two small bats and Frankenstein's monster.

Here are the materials needed:
  • Foam Sheets (Felt or cardboard could be used also)
  • Scissors (or an X-acto knife)
  • Hot Glue gun and glue sticks (or your Glue of preference)
  • Magnets stick-ons and /or ribbons (depending what kind of ornament you want to make)
  • Pencil, Pen or anything you can use to trace the cut-outs onto the foam sheets
  • Black marker (can be a Sharpie, or something similar)
  • Googly eyes
